Watched Bard Of Blood Yet? Here Are 5 Reasons Why You Should Get Started
Netflix original Bard of Blood hit screens over the weekend. With all the hype surrounding the show being the next big Indian original after Sacred Games, here’s why it’s worth your time
Let us start off by saying that Bard of Blood is not a flawless show. There are several things about it that could have been done better, but for the most part, the show manages to hold your attention and keep you at the edge of your seat. Netflix’s latest in their string of Indian originals, here’s why Bard of Blood is worth a watch –
1. The stunning locales
Set in the town of Balochistan but mostly filmed in Ladakh, Bard of Blood has some of the most picturesque locations we’ve seen in a while. Each frame is beautiful and crafted against a beautiful landscape which makes you wow as you go along.
2. Bollywood’s biggest superstar plays producer
Two of the biggest giants have collaborated on this one. This show is historic because Netflix approached none other than Shah Rukh Khan and his banner, Red Chillies Entertainment to produce this one. And what a fantastic choice King Khan has made to back this one.
3. Performances you will remember
It’s hard to believe that Emraan Hashmi was once notoriously known as Bollywood’s serial kisser when you see his nuanced performance as Kabir Anand in Bard of Blood. Not a single note out of place, he plays the role to perfection. Other note-worthy performances include Sobhita Dhulipala and Jaideep Ahlawat
4. Unforgettable action sequences
Bard of Blood gets its action sequences on point. Getting the action bits right was imperative to a show like this one which is so fast paced and they live up well to the premise. Whether it is car chases or shoot outs, they manage to make it larger than life.
5. Thrills at every corner
Just when you think you know what is about to happen, Bard of Blood manages to throw you off. Each twist keeps you wanting more and throughout the 7 episodes of the show, you are never bored or losing interest.
